Rewind Networks’ HITS channel continues to resonate and forge significant bonds with Singaporean pay-TV consumers. HITS debuted as the #3 TV channel on all day channel share amongst All Adults 25+. For the three-month period Mar 13 - June 25, this #3 ranking was amongst 14 international General Entertainment (GE) channels measured and reported by Kantar Media in Singapore. The 14 channels in the ranking for the period included well-established GE channels AXN, WarnerTV, Fox, STAR World, Diva Universal and Lifetime.
During the same period, HITS ranked #2 on Average Time Spent (ATS), with an average of 42 minutes per viewer per day. The #1 ranked channel was watched for 48 minutes per day, while the #3 ranked on this parameter was watched for 33 minutes per day. These amazing results for HITS showcase that not only are large number of viewers tuning in, they are staying and watching the channel longer.
HITS’ performance on weekends was even stronger with a #1 ranking on ATS amongst All People, Women and Adults 25+ during Prime Time.
The channel profile showed a strong skew towards the 25+ age group, with 35% coming from the coveted 25-34 age demographic. Women 25+ formed the largest demographic watching the channel.

The spectacular performance of HITS’ debut was revealed after Kantar Media started making the channel data available to subscribers on June 26, 2014. Data is available for HITS starting Mar 13, 2014. In Singapore the Channel is available to both HD and SD subscribers of StarHub TV’s basic entertainment tier group.
HITS is Rewind Networks’ maiden venture and will continue to expand into other Asian markets in the coming months.
